Our reception venue will require proof of vaccination and a valid ID in order to enter. Please complete the following COVID-19 form before our wedding day, and make sure to bring your ID. We also strongly encourage guests to get tested as close to the wedding date as possible.

In order to minimize the spread of COVID-19, we request that you arrive fully vaccinated and boosted. Should you choose differently, please let us know, and we will make plans to celebrate together at another time.

These are a few suggestions to help you plan your stay. However, please feel free to stay wherever you will feel most comfortable!

In Manhattan, SoHo and the East Village are convenient and mostly walkable. Other neighborhoods easily accessible by subway include Midtown and the Upper East Side.

In Brooklyn, you might consider Williamsburg or Downtown Brooklyn.

Transportation

Newark, JFK, and LaGuardia all serve the NYC area. Taxi/rideshare into the city is easiest, but public transportation is also feasible.

For those visiting from other locations along the East Coast, the Amtrak to NYP/Moynihan is another option.

Our venues are in the East Village and SoHo, respectively. Subway stops most convenient to the area include Broadway-Lafayette St.;  2nd Avenue.; and Bleecker St.

If you choose to rent a car or drive to New York, we strongly suggest reserving parking through your hotel or a private, enclosed garage ahead of time.

Should you choose to extend your stay in New York, we have compiled a list of our favorite places for your consideration!

Additional Information

What to wear:

We suggest cocktail attire:  skirts, dresses, suits - whatever makes you feel your best. Perhaps take this Spring opportunity to wear lots of color!

Food and drink:

We are planning a Mediterranean, family-style dinner. It will be primarily vegetarian, with some fish. There will be an open bar! And lots of dessert :) There is space to indicate any dietary preferences or restrictions in the digital RSVP form.

About the venues:

The Marble Cemetery is an outdoor, grassy garden. Housing Works Bookstore is entirely indoors.

Staying in New York:

We did not make a hotel block, given the breadth of lodging options available in New York City. Please reach out to us if you'd like more information about where you can stay!
